When I right click and tell it to update the driver and manually locate the driver on my computer it tells me "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date"Īlso, if I try to run the firmware updater now while the mouse is plugged in it says "This firmware update is only for Razer DeathAdder 3500DPI Mice.
Was about to get my first SC2 fix in a month but was updating all my drivers and stuff before playing ><ĮDIT: In device manager it shows up as "Unknown Device" under USB controllers. The DeathAdder Elite is a rather economical pc gaming mouse with. Please tell me it's fixable mouse is brand new and my laptop has just been in the shop getting fixed for a month. There is "Razer Device" in device manager but it's there even when the mouse isn't plugged in - I think that's just windows registering teh installed driver. It's not showing up in device manager under Human Interface Devices or Mice and other pointing devices. The deathadder driver software is not registering it. When I plug it in it says USB device not recognised. I was typing something in another window while updating and a window popped up saying windows needed to restart after installing updates right as I hit enter causing my laptop to restart. I was installing the latest firmware update for my Razer Deathadder 3500 which explicitly states do not unplug the mouse or shut down your computer during update as it can permanently damage the mouse.
